Wi-Fi Games

Some confirmed new Wii online play details by Nintendo for Mario Strikers Charged.

- if there are 2 players on a local Wii, they can both go online and take on 2 opponents online via the Nintendo Wi-Fi network.

- Gamers should expect “friend codes” to be used, as it’s been previously stated, as well as expect the ability to play random opponents.

The random matches will be region locked meaning players won’t play opponents located in the UK or Australia, but, if you have their friend code, then you’d be able to play them with no problem at all.

As for Spore, I don't think there has been any playable demo released yet. I could be wrong because I don't follow PC news, but I think it is unlikely for now.

That 2-playerness online will be cool since mainly only one other than me actually plays with me. Unlike the DS and the method it uses to set up gameplay I couldn't even play with my buddy that was 2 ft away join a regional match.

That sounds great in all and I am glad that they are taking different measures to make online play more enjoyable.
